Responsibilities
- Responsible for handling inbound calls and initiating warm outbound prospect sales calls
- Providing advice, needs-analysis, and completing sales applications
- Accurately recording prospect feedback in an online system
- Meeting sales and quality measures on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
- Regularly communicating with prospects and clients both orally and in writing
- Learning the client’s needs through a thorough conversation
- Providing and implementing a holistic plan which may include insurance, investment opportunities, tax-efficient strategies, financing, and more
Qualifications
- Harmonized LLQP certification is required
- Investment Funds in Canada (IFC) or Canadian Securities Course (CSC)
- Experience in a telephone and/or sales role is an asset
- Post-secondary degree is an asset; however, equivalent business experience is strongly considered
- Proven ability to self manage in a fast-paced and performance-driven environment
- A passion for helping others and providing consultative customer advice and service
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- High level of ownership, accountability, and the ability to work with a sense of urgency
- Commitment to ongoing service, process, and efficiency improvements
- Comfortable managing client escalations and able to problem-solve creatively
- Have the ability to embrace and drive change, work with a sense of urgency, and have the capability to build positive and lasting relationships with clients
